Virtual Serial Port XP creates pairs of virtual serial ports in your system
which are virtually connected to each other.
Physical null modem cables are not required.
You can create as many of virtual port pairs as your computer resources allow. Virtual serial
port pairs will look and work exactly like real hardware serial ports connected via null modem
cables. Different null modem schemes (loop back, partial or full handshaking) are available.
Once virtual serial ports are created they are operable at each system startup (if Virtual Serial Port XP itself is enabled of course).
Virtual Serial Port XP is useful for software developers to speed up development process during debugging and data-logging period and cut months or even years from total project time.
Virtual Serial Port XP is useful also for users which work with Windows applications using serial COM ports joined by null modem cable especially if those applications require more than one serial port pair.
The target group for the given product consists of software creators and users that work through COM ports, united by null modem cable. There are usually two COM-ports installed in a computer.
And if the program requires 10 or 20 COM ports? Then it is possible to install an expansion card. To that end it is necessary to take 5 or 10, correspondingly, null modem cables and unite the required ports. At the same time a great number of constantly tangling wires will appear.
So as to unite two ports it is necessary to turn off the computer to prevent the burning of COM port card.
With the help of Virtual Serial Port XP one can create virtual COM ports. At the same time any two virtual ports can be united by means of a configuration utility. Everything is simple and clear.
Imagine the situation when it is necessary to enclose two ports so as to test a certain program, but there is no null modem cable at hand; or when 2-3 ports are not enough, and you don't feel like installing an expansion card. Come across such a state of affairs?
Then Virtual Serial Port XP is exactly what you need!
You should only start a setup utility on your PC, and the system is ready to work.
Now with the help of a configuration utility with its interface intuitively clear, you can add to the list virtual COM ports, every of which is available like a real port. Moreover, you can enclose the inputs and outlets of the virtual ports without null modem cables.
Virtual Serial Port AX Control - creates custom virtual serial port in system and fully control it.
Serial Port Splitter - share dataflow of one serial port between several applications or join dataflow of several serial port devices to one application.
Serial Port Mapper - create serial port mapped to any other serial port, swap existent serial ports.
